In every person's life there
needs to be a counselor or a caring. nurturing, encouraging friend.
They give people guidance. They give people hope. They help them
accept themselves for who they are. They help them set goals.
They help them find their purpose. It is truly the work of angels.

Counseling Services are provided to help victims of crime and abuse
deal with issues of victimization. The counseling is client-centered
and is designed to assist the victim to identify options and regain
control in their lives through support, education, and empowerment. The
goal is to share concern, responsibility, and power between the counselor
and the victim, thereby acknowledging the victim's
competence.
Support Groups are designed to provide an additional network of
support by bringing people together who share similar experiences of
victimization.
Participation in a support group allows victims not only to share their
experiences but also the skills they have developed to cope with their
victimization.
