Shelter Services

 The Crisis Center Shelter provides a safe atmosphere for victims of abuse and their children.  The major goals are to strengthen family life in our community by reducing emotional stresses and to provide a protective living environment as an alternative to remaining in a violent or dangerous situation.

• Food

• Basic necessities

• Crisis Intervention

• Individual and group counseling

• Case management

• Legal accompaniment

• Medical accompaniment

• Welfare accompaniment

• Transportation (is determined on a case by case basis.)

• Resource information

• Personal advocacy

• Relocation assistance

• Nationwide referrals to other shelters
